Hallo! Servus! Grüezi!
My name is Immanuel and I am a German teacher. Born in 1990 and raised in the South of Austria, I have spent my whole life in a German speaking surrounding. After finishing German and French philology studies at the University of Graz, I decided to become a German teacher. I have been teaching my native language to many students of all age groups and from all over the world for over 10 years and seeing my students’ progress is my biggest motivation to keep doing it.
One of my main purposes is to show people how great it is to be able to speak German and how they can achieve their indivdual learning goals themselves.
Learning German with Immanuel was a real pleasure! Thank you!

An avid language learner myself, I am fluent in English, French and Russian and I also speak Spanish, Italian, Croatian and Slovene at a reasonable level. As you can see, these are quite a lot of languages and the journey isn’t over! I am planning to learn even more foreign languages. As you can imagine, I know all the struggles of language learning myself. From motivational downs to problems using a specific grammar or understanding native speakers who talk to you at their normal pace, I have gone through everything.
Language is not a genetic gift, it is a social gift. Learning a new language is becoming a member of the club – the community of speakers of that language.
