General questions
How can I join a group class?
In order to join a group class, please choose “German Courses” in the menu and the “German Group Classes”. Then click “Enroll now!” and you’ll be directed to the checkout automatically.
What is your teaching experience?
I studied German and French philology at the university of Graz, Austria. I have been teaching German for over 10 years now and my students were always satisfied to achieve their goals.
I need German for my work. Are your classes for me?
Yes, they definitly are. In the classes, we will cover many different aspects of the language. This ranges from general language to specific vocabulary that you can use for your work.
I want to take a language exam. Do your classes prepare me for this?
Yes. All the classes are designed according to the CEFR – the Common European Framework of Reference for languages and hence they follow the language levels (A1 up to C2).
Group classes
When does the next group class start?
You can find out the date and time of the next group class in the section “Group Classes”.
How long does a group class last?
My classes are semi-intensive classes. This means that we will usually meet twice a week for two months. All in all, a group class equals 48 hours of meetings.
How long is one group meeting?
A group meeting will be 180 minutes. There will be a 15-minute break.
How do the meetings take place?
You will get a link to an invite link for a Zoom-meeting. The link will stay the same throughout the whole course. If you are unfamiliar with Zoom, please watch this short tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAMDxH_H_Cs
What if I can’t attend a class?
Don’t worry. There will always be a video of our class which you can download. This is also very useful for those who wish to rewatch a class. The videos are accessible for group members only and it’s prohibited to use them in any other way than for your private use. Any publication is illegal!
What materials will we use?
We will use a textbook and a workbook that you should purchase before the course starts. The books can be purchased as print version or as e-books. You will get an e-mail with all the information about the book we will be using and where to get it before the class starts. You will also get some extra worksheets from me if required.
How many participants will be in a group?
The group will consist of a maximum of 10 people.
What if I am not satisfied or my plans have changed?
If you are not satisfied or your plans have changed, you can get a full refund within the first 14 days from the day the course has started.
I can’t find a course for my level.
It’s possible that at the moment there are no suitable courses available for your level. Please check the availability at a later time.
